Right on Chris and family!
I so miss hunting in Idaho. I know the deer have taken the increasing wolf population really hard and that has kept me from taking a trip up there to hunt lately. They are just not as plentiful as they were back when I hunted there. Finally Idaho is getting some of the predators under control, but thats another topic.
I got me a real nice 5x4 in 2000 in unit 27/28 near Panther Creek. I was cheating using a rifle, but it was a long shot. 811 yards across a canyon. I only had a couple of days to hunt, so I took the shot. A few inches back from perfect from less than perfect wind drift calculation, but it did kill him.
Dang we could talk about this all day. I better get back to work.LOL
congraaaats on that archery deer!!!!!
