Hot rod hauler

Now where does this fit? What forum to post it under? Not sure, so stuck it here for now. It's NOT a Dodge.

How is this for something a little different?

The problem is that Detroit is normally aspirated. It really need a turbo (or turbos) to wake it up.

Those twins are blowers, not superchargers. They run slightly above atmospheric pressure to scavenge the cylinders because the old Detroits are two stroke engines. Turbo's add the boost for more power.

blower/supercharger is the same thing and it would not be normally aspirated since it is forced inducted with 2 blowers/superchargers on it that is factory. 2 stroke detroits had superchargers on them from the factory and that is how the hot rod industry and people taking them off the diesels and stuffing them onto small blocks and big blocks.

Non turbo two stroke Detroits are considered normally aspirated.

stand corrected. but agree with above cool but a turd. some other motor would have been much sweeter. a 16 secod 1/4 mile time with a v12 is SLOW and that thing does not weigh anything comparitively speaking

Crap, that Detroit weighs as much as most cars! I've worked on a V8 version and it was heavier than a VW.
