no start
Father in law's truck...<br><br>He claims it will not start, and he can smell fuel in the cab of the truck. I'm thinking rubber fuel lines, Any other ideas before I go tow him home?<br><br>His truck...'94 2500 2wd auto w/about 120,000miles<br><br>Thanks <br>Jeff

Let me know if you don't know how to bleed air and lack of fuel from the injection system, it's relatively easy to accomplish for a no start condition. The fuel system has to be intact as far as leakages from the tank to the injection pump, nozzles and return lines back to the tank. Any leaks will introduce air to replace the fuel and subsequently, a "no-start".<br>

The fuel heater/prestrainer should also be checked. Some of the heaters have failed melting wires and case around wires. Can cause leaking and start failure due to air induction.<br><br>Jerry
