m&h timing spacer-anybody get it to run right with ksb?
As the title says, looking for other folks that have gotten this device to work with the ksb. I am interested in your initial timing settings, and power screw settings.
Run down on my end: installed spacer with full pump rebuild. Runs terrible with ksb power off (can't turn it on on initial start up, non i/c pump)
Just advanced the timing to the head today, and turned up the power screw, seems to start better but does the lope when it's warm now? (First drive with advanced timing, may change over the next couple days) been inconsistent starting since I've installed it.
Anybody have any lift numbers or a specific spacer washer setup that worked for them that I can try before I throw this 100 dollar aluminum ring in the ocean?
Thanks

I think the basic idea of the dynamic timing mod is that you can then run the pump at stock timing, and not lose your low end grunt, but gain on the top end as the timing is advanced with RPM. If you use both the dynamic timing and advance the pump, you can go over the hill on the low end.
If just putting the M&H timing in caused the low end to go way over advanced, something's wrong with the install.

My IP has no mods....all stock with just a re-seal. I had an air intake temp sensor for the KSB that was faulty, replaced it, Still too much advance. I figure either I installed it wrong, don't think so, but anything is possible. Or my KSB is faulty.
I may pop the spacer out and run it that way to verify that the KSB is either good or not. If it's bad I have a spare KSB I will swap on and see what happens then.
