Hello all new to DTR and to cummins deisels someday I think they are money pits but I love my 2001 2500 xlt 4x4

I know what you mean, I guess I just went into the cummins with my eyes closed. If I could do it all over again I would have tried harder to talk the seller down on the price of the truck. $8000.00 ish cdn in repairs so far...........but I think I have it where it needs to be hopefully i get 1 million k's on it before the body rusts and falls off of it, only has 287000 kms so far.

 

Holy smokes! It better be running like a top is right.

 

Yep so far..........lift pump, injection pump right after that, 2 more stock lift pump, now a FASS 95, trans rebuild, new oil pan, now needs exhaust, tail pipe and muffler rusted out............it never ends.........well I hope it does soon.....lol
took it for a good run on the hiway today and she flies like a bat outta hell. Guess now I have to watch out for the police.......I am pretty happy with it now, just wished I got it for a better price.

I did fill out my signature how come it is not appearing on my post. that is wierd I went through options and the signature is checked for my post's

 

Look at post #3...It's up, but it only shows up once per thread.

 

ok thanks, this is different from the cummins diesel forum, it shows on every post there.
