Doing good. It idles real smooth and has a kick in the pants as well. They may smoke just a little more than stock but I am not positive. I am very happy with them. They are a little pricey but cheaper than buying new ones.

Woo Hoo got the 96 inspected today!! Get to pay taxes and register it tomorrow... Sitting in my parking lot for 3 days now and I've only gotten to drive 15miles!! No plates, no reg sticker, no inspection sticker!

Fluid shifting is weird.......... Batts are weak on it as well, luckly it starts on the first revolution, cause I dont think it would make it a 2nd! Time to move the empty dual optima bracket from toolbox in the 01 to the 96... and the H2O/ Meth... and the N20...

Oooooo OOooo dont know how I could forget!!! Track Bars are important!!!! Trust me!

85mph on I45 about a mile North of Corsicana and the bolt let go!! (still have half as a trophy) lost control completely, truck bounced like crazy!! could hear the tires chirping from the tires bouncing on and off the ground!!!! truck jerked and hopped like you would never believe!

Ended up going in the median bout 45* slope skidded for about 60 feet, stopped 2" from the center wire fence thingy.... Dang... Long night

Appreciate it.. Nah.. threw it in 4x (to get me out of the mud) and off the hwy... cruised at about 10mph to the dodge dealer in Corsicana... No bolt there, but got a ride for a temp bolt... Swapped in a better fitter (14mm) in FF

Cool, I think you made it all up so you could play in the mud. I don't know if you are working on the race truck down here but if you ever need a hand with something heavy I might be able to sqeeze you in a little time.

FYI - Think 96 autos came with a 47RE tranny? If so, full battery power is essential for a good running tranny. Everything is electronically controlled! With weak batteries, they can shutter, search for gears and/or surge. And, as I'm sure you have read before, replace both!

As posted on DTR#8 Sept thread.....
"I have gone the other way with my truck... decided to retire from racing and dynoing!
After going to the dyno at SpeedTek, I realized just can't compete with 3rd Gens that can get to 600 hp in one afternoon.
Seemed like every young flat belly there had 700+ hp! It was fun to see and very impressive...... but was also a depressing vp-44 reality check!!"

I am told they are 60hp. Not much but definitely makes a difference.

If they use the differences between Flux 1 and 2 then shouldn't they be 70hp sticks?
