AD100, its a simple install, has good filtration, and will handle all the performance goodies you have no problem! Also you don't have to drop the tank as there is no pick up tube for the 100, and it still has the water seperator, and fuel filter!

Ad100

thanks for the info,i searched previous threads but couldn't find my answer.i don't want to have to worry every time we travel with the fifth when my stock pump is going to crap out! i had this happen with a 98 gmc gasser with pump in the tank.middle of the forest in northern manitoba canada on a back country canoe trip.nearest town was 200 miles away and my Edit fuel pump failed.no cell service walked for (2)days down a Edit gravel road being eaten alive by mosquitos before bumping into another back country traveller!!!THIS IS A MUST DO FOR ME VERY SOON!!

For sure! You won't be dissapointed with the airdog, its a good setup, and it sounds like the AD100 will be more than suficiant!

If you still have the fuel pump on the back of the filter housing get the Airdog 100. You will not have to drop the tank to plumb it all up. If you have already had yours updated to the intank unit. Leave it alone. It will be fine.

If he has the pump in the tank he should drop the tank to remove it.

my pump is located on the back of the fuel filter housing.so i guess i leave it in tact?do you still use the stock fuel filter? or does it start to affect the flow rate with the airdog filters already doing this task?

If you draw from the stock canister you still need to drop the tank to plumb the AD's return to it as well or you'll have problems when you get below 3/8 of a tank, been there done that.
If I were you I'd use a Raptor, you can hook that up to your stock canister in the tank, no rerturn line to worry about, use the stock filter (for the water seperator) and add a 2 micron filter between it and the Cp3. That's what I'd do it I was doing it again.
