Valve adjustment.
Since it doesn't look like my valve covers have ever been off, I need to adjust my valvelash. What's the best way to get the engine to TDC? I know you have to push in the timing pin but I assume you don't do it by bumping the starter.

You can turn the engine by turning the Alternator pulley, or purchase a barring tool.

Yeah, I read that part. Since it would require a second person to push in the pin I figured I'd use the alternate method of turning till #6 is at crossover for #1 TDC and vice-versa. The valves don't require the exactitude of the injector pump for TDC.
