Turbo upgrade question

Hi,

I have a 92 W350. I want to upgrade the turbo. So far I have turned up the main fuel screw a little and advanced the timing. I also rotated the AFC cone some.

I have a 3" mandrel bent exhaust and I put a 16cm exhaust housing on. My truck is a 5 speed. I mostly haul firewood and don't tow much at all.

I called HTT and talked to the nice fellow there. He said that my comp. housing is 54mm? and he recomended a 56 housing with a 14cm exhaust housing.

I kinda thought that I would like a bigger housing than a 56mm. I also sorta want to keep my 16 turbine housing just incase I want to go with bigger injectors in the future.

So what if I go with a stage 3 compressor housing? Will I notice more lag? My turbo seems to come on boost fine now.

Thanks
Dean

Go with the Stage 3 or 4 if you have plans for injectors. You can play with the pump settings and timing to get the spoolup you want. Don't waste money on the 14 cm housing.
