Turbo

Well just got the truck back from the dealer for the 6th time in 3 months, first time the fan clutch blew apart 1,200.00 under warranty last 5 times have been for the A/C, charged, dyed new evaporator, probe an now they say the acumulator is bad too, Also been haveing the code P-0234 all the time for turbo over boost. My wastegate is stuck shut so i get a new turbo, i bought the truck with 61,000 miles on it have now i have 65,000 and the turbo is bad anyone else have this problem? Or any of the other ones ive listed all together the truck has had 3,000 dollars worth of work all under warranty but it still sucks.
Thanks for listening hahaha Dennis

Knock on wood NO. Have not had any of those problems nor have I heard that any of those problems are systemic.

Just got mine back this week after 3 weeks because the turbo's were on national back order . They had another one at the dealer waiting for a turbo along with mine . I think it is a common problem and I hope they do not make you wait as long as I did .

As John Halter can attest to, there does seem to be a problem with the Turbo’s after 03. Mine was a broken clamp (bad install?). His was a failure. Follow his thread “Turbo squealing and rubbing”. Cant remember what my original posts name was but it took me 16 days to get mine fixed. John lost money with his down time. Other people insist that the Turbo’s last 200K miles and more. I don’t know what to think except that there seems to be a fair amount of people having problems. Let us know what your final outcome is.
