All Smiles On The Last Mod.
Thanks to Dave and his vent tank mod and grate instruction it is in and doing just as promised. It makes me wander if the fuel pump are pumping the correct amount. The tank was empty put 5 gal. of fresh fuel in drove 5 miles to service station pumped 34.38 gallons , that is putting a total of 39+gal. in a 34 gal. tank . Would like to what the barb fitting on the top at each end of tank are used for. One more mod left to do and that is torque converter lock up switch. ps AND IT ONLY TOOK THREE EXTRA CLICKS

Those fittings are vents so the LP doesn't draw a vacuum in the tank. They have been identified as a potential problem by allowing dirt into the tank. Many have attached fuel hose from these vents, to a "T" fitting, and then to a cheap fuel filter. This allows the tank to vent but prevents contaminants from getting in. It would have been nice to take care of this while you had the tank out but it is still a pretty easy fix. I did mine a few weeks ago and it took about an hour.
