Transmission questions!!!
Im looking to do up my 48re i already have a tripple disc, flexplate, and valve body but ever since i had the valve body installed it has some issues so instead of changing the valve body again i was gonna just upgrade the trans for future mods and reliability.....My first question is Garmons Diesel performance any good......they build a full billet trans and they are close to me....also should i go full billet or not..if not what should i get.....im planning on compounding my truck in the future but with the stock turbo......maybe around a 600hp truck someday.....also i pull my gooseneck once and a while weight around 15k 16k , but usually long distances for in stance i have to go from SC to NY for a project..... i dont sled pull just mess with the occasional D-max once and a while..
well there is issues running the an upgraded valve body without fixing the internal leaks of the servos so i would upgrade them get the anchor strap and lever all billet as well and get a billet input you shouldnt need the output unless you are going to be anihilating the thing but if you want it for piece of mind get it its an extra 750 bucks i havent heard a lot about garmon on here but on other sites guys seem to like them everyone on here loves goerend because he is a stand up guy do your research and go from there there is a lot of info on this if you just search throughout this site
