Trac-bar

Hello again,
I have not posted for a while as I have not been driving my 95 diesel for a while. It was in need of a trac-bar and a few other things. I have just been neglecting it. Well I started looking around on e-bay and other places and at all of the aftermarket solutions for the ball end link upgrade. I finally decided to give a guy on E-bay a chance. Don't have the link right now but if some one wants it I will post it.
When it arrived I give it a good looking over and notice that it is considerably larger ball joint compared to the stocker. It seems very well built and I am happy with it. I paid $75 and some change shipped to my door. Have not driven the truck yet as I had to cut the bolt off on the pass side of the bar to get it off. Had to order a new one. I would like have a word with nincompoop who thought boxing in the end of the bolt that has the nut on it so you can't even get the correct size wrench on it once the little tab rips off was a good idea.
After about an hour with a hacksaw blade jabbing at it through the little hole that's too small to get the right wrench in, it's off.
I will get it back together tomorrow and test it out.

Interesting, I like to know what you think about the set up after you get some miles on it. I am paying a whole lot more that 75.00 to get my track bar upgraded, so you have my interest up. Good luck...

Well I got it bolted in today and it went right in with out much grief.
Made a major improvement in the handling. Doesn't scare me to drive it now.
I will let you know how it holds up. But for what I paid, if it lasts 2-3 years I will replace it. Truck is getting old and I am now not driving it as my daily driver. I might just make it a "usuable toy".
I want more power!

Anyone thought about installing spherical bearings on the ends of the trac bar?
