Throttle Linkage

Question Throttle Linkage

(This is not my truck and have intent on making this a sell thread)
I was wondering why this persons throttle linkage on their VE looks different then mine. Mine has the normal single linkage with a circular spring this persons has all of this extra slide linkages it looks like. It is kind of hard to put into words what I am talking about. This is for my own education.

And the other slide thingy (the one with no spring) is for the cruise control.

And... what's the cylindrical device mounted lower side of the IP? It has an electrical connection (aft) & small dia. tube umbilical (midship)...

That would be the ksb...which is the timing advance for cold engine startup.

I try, well since mine is a stick and it also does not have cruse, then I have no slide thingys, mystery solved I was wondering cause I have the space for the cruse and auto kick down.
