suspension questions

Who makes a top of the line steering stabilizer kit, and if I need to replace shocks, what are good ones for off road? On the steering stabilizer, I see JC Whitney has one for our trucks at around $90.00, I am just not schooled enough on these. It will go on my W250, which is not listed in my sig. My plans iclude upgrading the steering shaft also. What is the correct part # for the Borgeson kit for my truck??

No reply on this subject?

24 days, and no reply on this subject? Suspension, like power mods, is a big deal, or is it? Please read 1st post and advise. Thanks.

The one I got was Summit part# BRG940. Evidently there is some issue with the steering column that could be aggravated by using the double-jointed one. This is the one with the rag joint. I like it. As far as shocks go, I can't help much there cause I haven't had my truck long enough to replace those yet. They are the Nitros that go with the Syjacker springs and I don't like them. Truck is too bouncy. I hear alot of people talking up the Ranchos. Maybe try those next.

Cheers...

It's hard to really tell about the intake mod in particular. All I know is my truck has turned into a bona fide monster with the modest power mods I've done. I'm sure that intake has something to do with it.

Hey Big Ragu,
Don't spend the money on the Ranchos, I bought a set of ProComp ES9000's from 4wheel parts(half the money of Ranchos at the time). The ride difference was awesome. I take her off road from time to time and to the beach 50 miles down Mustang Island when we lived in Texas and the ride was was still great.

I'll check them out...is anything wrong with the JC Whitney line of steering stabilizer dual shock systems? $89.00 all day. Is that too pricey or one of those"you get what you pay for" kind of deals?
