Stock Fuel Plate

Stock Fuel Plate
Anyone know if a stock fuel plate from a 1994 manual tranny is the same as a 1998 auto tranny? I got kinda an emergency situation on my hands with the injector pump. So any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No, I'm pretty sure the plates are different, not only because the hp ratings are different, but because the fueling rate has to be managed for an auto differently than for a manual. Keep in mind that the fuel plate affects fueling only at or near WOT--that's why it's called a fuel stop plate. If the AFC hasn't been gutted or drastically tweaked, it will be keeping the governor arm from contacting the plate anyway until a substantial amount of boost moves the AFC arm out of the way of the governor arm.
