Look in www.jcwhitney.com. My recently installed kit ran $89.00 for dual stabilizers.

I would recommend that you DO NOT use duals. There is no need for them. If you are having death wobble or some other problem with your front end, fix the problem. Usually duals only cover up a problem, not fix it. And a problem that is covered up will only get worse. If you have a D60, I have modified a few of them and I can walk you through the probable causes. Death wobble, for instance, can be fixed by something as simple as a toe adjustment, or tire pressure change, or by adding a fender washer under the kingpin spring.

Why are you considering it? Is there a problem, or do you just like the look? give us more info, and we will give more back.

I have a dual kit on mine and I am not trying to cover up anything .But with dual's it makes the whole system work easier my tire and wheel combo is close to 150 + lbs per wheel or better with that amount of weight on each corner you want some extra help .

I agree.

Steering stabilizers, or their proper name "steering dampers" are meant to prevent expensive steering components from having to absorb the shock from rough roads, etc.

If you have a chassis problem, sure, fix it; but, a good steering shock (or two) will keep a good front-end from becoming a worn-out front-end.

I bought one for my 02 powerstroke, and I love the firm, no more jarring, feel to the drive. I started install on the 93 CTD, but there was a bracket missing, and JCW is at this moment in the process of making it good for me. I'll let you know how duals feel when combined w/ borgeson shaft.

LOL I have the same rubber XML's on my 85 Crew Cab on steel wheels and they are quite hefty agreed. That said I have no stabilizer on it at all and have never needed one in 112K miles so far. I did however need to build a better tie rod as the OEM one would bend and flex causing some terrible handling.

Im not trying to cover anything up ,Im not experiencing death woble or anything Ive just always had them on me other trucks.01 powerstroke, and several broncos. All of those trucks were lifted at least 6 in. I just always felt like everything was a little tighter with them on there.I just wasnt sure who made a dual end to end kit for the 1st gens.Ive had skyjacker and superlift in the past. The truck actually steers pretty good,a little loose maybe but not enough to really concern me.Although I am going to install a borgenson shaft in the near future.

Do what I am fixing to do.

Buy one of those universal dual-steering stabilizer kits and fabricate brackets to make it fit where you want it.

They are actually very simple.

If you can't find a universal kit with the stabilizers that you want, buy a kit for some other truck and re-make the mounting brackets.

I believe a kit for a straight front-axle Chevrolet should be very close to working on a Dodge, as the front axles are very similar, if not the same.

Mine seems to have a little bump steer and I don't like the way it handles with 285s on the stock rims. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it ) the tires are nearly new, so it's gonna be awhile before I can get a better wheel/tire combo on there. I was just wondering if a steering stabilizer would improve that situation much and help get me through the next year or so before I can start spending money on the truck again.
