dual stabalizers....again
Just to pass on the info,I did indeed find dual "opposing" stabalizers for gen 1's today.Skyjacker does make one ,they also make a parallel set.You wont find it advertised ,but my local 4x4 shop found it in their catalog.I ordered it today for $100 thats shocks brackets and everything.I had posted on this earlier in the week and just thought I'd put the info out there.
As far as tire size goes Im really not sure at what pt it gets better to use duals,I always went to duals on my other trucks once I increased size of tires.I had a 01 superduty and was running 39's ,every time I hit a semi-heavy bump in the road I would get a death wobble,I went from a single to a dual opposing set-up and never had the problem again.I did eventually end up replacing both wheel bearings in that truck but that wasnt until several yrs later. So Ive run duals ever since. And of course I think they look cool, high CDI factor and all.But hey ,thats just me.
