Shift Enhancer / Phone?

I got a new Shift Enhancer from Goerends and I noticed that there is phone jack on the side of the Enhancer. What is this for?

It's for programming the unit. The dealer who sold you the unit should have programmed it to suit your driving style and/or build.

In a converssation I had with Dave Goerend I believe (not positive) that he is selling the DTT shift enhancer. I looked on the DTT site but did not locate anything about it.

Yes, Dave is selling DTT Enhancers. Still doesn't explain the phone cord. Maybe I can hook my phone up to it and call Dave and ask him

Holy moly dude, I said the answer very clearly up a few posts.

There's a piece of equipment a dealer should have that uses the phone jack to program the unit with what voltage range it should operate in.

I've got one from Dave too. If you have a tranny that Dave built, he has a device (programmer) that he will program your specific pressures from your VB into the enhanser to allow it to function properly.

Agreed...had them change my settings a few times...turn off truck, attach to their unit via the phone cord looking port and program...remove, restart truck and off you go....takes about 2 minutes.

HOV, Just kidding man I figured that was what its for. Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. I just thought it was funny that there was a phone jack instead of a USB port if it was for programing
