Same computers throughout the years?
I am getting a little confused about this.
are the computers the same between 1998.5 and 2002?
I plan on buying one of the control systems out there for my 2001.5.
When I read up on them some say 1998 to 2000 and others say 1998 to 2002.
Not sure if the first is a mixup or if there are differences.
also, what is are people running with stock engines?
Not looking to upgrade anything but the exhaust, maybe a cold air intake and a box.
any help would be great.
Thanks, Ken

There was a few changes regarding connectors, and a few changes regarding voltages.
Programmer type boxes, like the Smarty or Superchips, will work for any of the years.
Boxes that attach to connectors will be different for the different years.
Then the boxes that use the input voltages from the sensors will be different for those years.
I forget exactly what years the voltages and connectors changed though.
There are a couple years that an adaptor will work for the different connectors, and others where they won't because of the different voltages.
