Rebuild

Did some damage to my engine the other day racing an 06 ford. At the end of the strip when I slowed down, the truck was running real rough and making lots of black smoke. So it looks like I'm doing some engine work. My question is what should a guy do. The truck has about 100000 miles on it and 6000 hours on the engine. I'm pretty sure I,m going with a new cam & springs as well as what ever else needs to be done. I want to try and make it bullet proof. Any suggestions would be great as well as were to order from.

You can get your Cam and Springs from F1, and at 100,000 miles you may want to send your injectors off to be tested, and put whatever stage Flux tips you choose for your application (all from F1). You can have your valves cleaned up and enlarged, deck the head, stud. Depends on your budget heck you can take it to a couple of companies and have them re-build it to be an all out race motor. Really depends on your budget, time frame, and what you want when its all said and done.
Maybe some of the big boys will see your post and chime in, they have a lot more knowledge than I do. Anyway good luck.
