Rear Slide Glass leaks

Well I discovered my New to me 06 leaks really bad at the rear sliding glass,.. As anyone else had/Have this problem?

Are the seals easy to come by and how are they to install? easy / hard?

I dont even want to bother with the dealer, they also seem to get on my bad side.

Thanks

Yep, this is a known issue, happened to me and a buddy of mine who also has an 06. On mine, it happened under warranty so the dealer fixed it. On my buddies, it was after warranty, so he fixed it himself by adding window sealer from both the outside and inside. Note these windows don't use a gasket or seal, they literally use a silicone type sealant.

Good luck.

Well there's something there that looks like and feels like a seal. I had to run a bead of silicone to stop most of the leak this weekend.. I'd rather just replace the window with a solid one. Maybe a rock is going to be thrown at the window while Im at the Walmart store this weekend.

Mine was leaking from the 3rd brake light when I bought it...if you have one.

I took the light off, used silicone, and re-installed.

No more leak.

I'll second the third brake light. My old '04. I thought it was the slider and couldn't get anything to help stop the leak. Finally started looking at what else could be leaking. Third brake light. A very thin bead of silicone stopped it right away.
