There are a few A pillars I have seen around that let you keep handle & mount
gauges also. Your only other options are under dash, which I don't think can be seen so well, & on top of dash, which doesn't seem to impress you much....
I'm gonna try putting my one & only gauge (EGT) in a piece of 2" pvc pipe on top of the dash. I already have done a prototype, which needs lots of revisions. When I've finished, I'll post pics. Might be awhile, though.

Oh, you can get a overhead console that goes around the rear-view mirror.
Do a "Search" You can find lots of stuff like that.

Need power? Go with Quadzilla. Excellent company! He's close to you ,also.
He's in Fort Worth...I've got the 100 hp box....I love it & he has THE BEST
CUSTOMER SVC ANYWHERE!.......

How well do the wirerought with the over the rear view mirror.

I have not seen the pillers that will let me keep my handle. Or replace them. Unless the $200 one is it.

Look at the Commander. It will monitor everything you need to monitor and you can mount it on the pillar and keepyour handle.

I don't know if the 03's have the cubby hole below the radio and A/C controls, but the 04.5's do, I got the 3 gauge pod for the cubby hole cause I wanted to keep my A pillar the way it was, I like the incognito look, plus they look like they belong there once installed. I got the AutoMeter pod w/ isspro gauges Dodge spec. They look awesome. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow.

There is a mount for the gauges that goes on top of the dash.
There is also one for the SRT that has one mount and you keep the handle.
Personally, Im not fond of the pod in the cubby hole for the fact that the gauges are not at eye level and hard to see.
I thought about all the options and went with the twin pillar mount.
I might change it to a three when I get the FP and Tranny Temp.
The other option is the ones that mount on the column.

I have two on the steering column and 3 in the console pod that I move up above A/C controls to see better.

My overhead works great. For installing Deiselmanor told me to use black RTV silicone. I originally used the supplied "velcro" strips that came with my kit. Back in August I had to take the overhead mount down (long story). It was very hard getting the mount off the window, I was afraid something was going to break. I do not see how the overhead was ever going to fall down on it's own. The black silicone worked much better and can't see any markes from the outside.

On those gauges in the cubby hole did you make that yourself or can you buy that somewhere. Those look awsome. I also want to keep my pillar the way it is. Thanks

You can buy the mounting kit I think autometer makes it. Dieselmanor.com might sell the kit..
