Question Problems with Edge Juice box anyone?

My local diesel shop guy says he won't install the sdge juice box because of problems he's had ( or heard about) with cracked injectors.
Has anyone had any problems with the edge juice box?
He is pushing the box made by BD.
I was pretty sold on getting the juice w attitude until I talked to him.
Any opinions welcome.

Paul

I currently have the Edge HOT Juice/Attitude installed. Had the standard Juice installed before that. I have had no problems or issues with install, codes or operation.

Because I have had my computer reprogrammed for my larger tire size the Attitude transmission monitoring does not function for me. This is not a real problem for me since I have had TC and Transmission completely upgraded for racing.

I have tested a Quad XZillaraider Race box with no problems or issues at all.

I have also had a DR Performance Stage II pressure box that did what it said, but the high fuel pressure made the truck idle and run very rough. It may have also contributed to the demise of #6 injector.

The standard juice is 25-40-60-80-100hp hot juice is 40-60-80-100-180hp.

have used the quadzilla xzillaraider race and the TS ramifier and liked them both.
i love pressure but just a little shy of it due to the already relativly high pressures of the 05's.

the Edge juice is great, a quality unit. I have never tried the TST PMCR.
good Luck

My .02

I don't care for any pressure boxes at all! Think about it for a minute, we went from injectors poping at pressures in the thousands and we were getting great HP and TRQ out of these little 5.9 cummins, but now we have increased these CRail to 20,000+ psi, do you think we need any more pressure???? I would recommend the TST product Powermax CR, these guys have worked for cummins before they desinged these aftermarket products for us. The PMCR does not increase pressure it just changes the duration of the pulse of fuel and changes the timing to better use the fuel you are using (the smart way to truly get more HP and TRQ). The pressure boxes is the easiest way for a aftermarket group to give you small increase but pushes the pressure to desctrutive levels, why do you need more pressure???? Think about it ??? TST has really done it right, they have gone where others should go to better give us a choice (maybe some of the other are not smart enough to figure it out).

RAM-RED

I have a 03 with a TST PMCR and 52000 miles going great.

I just want to claify that the 04.5-05 Juice does not do pressure. It only does timing and duration.

Mr. Dog,

Sounds like whoever you're dealing with is not an Edge fan, or maybe he is cautious on the EZ as someone else mentioned. We have sold literally 100's of the Juice/Attitudes with little to 0 problems, just an occassional DOA out of the box.

Best overall product with the gauges and de fuel functions built in the safest too! Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help you.
