Most speakers are 4 ohms and after market makes some 4 and 8 ohms. Running them in Series and Parallel to get the ohm ratings desired. Stick a VOM meter on them. I am just about positive they are 4 ohms.

could be like the Bose systems in the GM cars, they are 3ohm. really fun to match up.

NOT ALL CAR AUDIO IS 4 OR 8ohm. stock upgraded systems like the Bose (bose is 3ohm). Infinity, you might check out their site or email their customer service to double check. you don't want to change it unless you are changing the entire system then you can match it up from there.

The system is 2 ohm. There are a few aftermarket companies that sell 2 ohm speakers. I just replaced all mine with higher quality infinity Kappas. They are louder than stock and sound cleaner.

I think the Kappas measured 4 ohms. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. If you are thinking about replacing them, you can call Crutchfield and they can tell you what would be best and if they have anything that is 2 ohm. They are pretty knowlegable and have helped me out a few times in the past.

I replaced all with 2 ohm kappas from Crutchfield. I also added an infinity 10" under passenger rear seat. That was a heck of a difference right there. I also added the tweeters that came with the component speakers to the upper rear pillars. Sounds good IMHO.
