NEED new shocks for 6" LIFT
Hey guys.
My bilstein 5100s that came with the Superlift 6" blew and are leaking oil all over (in the back). I know they have lifetime warranty but I am not sure how to go about getting the warranty. Plus in the mean time need a shock to use.
I am also unsure on if I want to fix the 5100s, wasn't too happy with them. I didn't like the small bushings on them, nor the fact that they leaked.
My truck has 37" tires and does a LOT of logging roads and washboard, and hauls weight off road as well. So in other words it gets used.
I want a quality shock that will work well with my lift. I would like to keep the ride unloaded best I can yet still stay reliable on tougher duty.
What shocks would you guys recommend, and where to get them from? I think I should replace all 4.
What about Sulastics I keep hearing about? They mount between the frame and the leaf spring. My friend has them on his 06 LBZ maxipad and he is happy with them.
Thank you for your help.
Igor.

I love my Thuren suspension. Don is a great guy, and can help you with anything you want. Kevin at HRT offroad is in your neck of the roads (being canada) and he works with Don Thuren.

Still looking for shocks.
I emailed HRT to see what they have.
I am not sure if it would be wise to spend the big money on some "nice" shocks, or just go with regular superlifts for a 6" lift?

Can't say I know of any. I hate my Bilsteins to, they would work a lot better in the garbage if I didn't dump so much money for them. And the fact that no one knows what are the right bushing for the 6" lift rear ones, my squak like no other around corners......
