Maybe you could use double sideded stick tape and put the gauge next to the A-Pillar?
I've been thinking about a place to install one aswell, I thought there was a gauge holder out?

I fed the cable through the hole where the cupholder light is supposed to go. Mine didnt come with the light group so theres plenty of room to feed all kinds of cables and tubing through that hole.
I then mounted the RP gauge, with the supplied velcro, to the left of the hole (butted up against the left part of the center console) and just about flush with the front face of the dash.
The cable is not very visible at all and I plan to use the area to the right of the RP gauge to mount a couple westach combo gauges in their bullet mounts.
