MBRP Help !

Just put my single side exit MBRP on and it seems like the tip sticks out and down pretty far...is that how it's supposed to look?
All my hangers lined up ok - just looks kinda strange?

Mileage has not increased at all - if anything it dropped a bit.

If your running without a muffler, put one on. My mileage increased after about a month of it dropping. I attribute it to me staying on the skinny pedal longer just to hear that sound. Mine still hangs down a bit more than I like, won't be a problem once I get the stacks in, but you can always chop an inch or two out of the hangers and re-weld them higher.

I do have the muffler- the XP series cat-back...4"

Geesh, didn't want to have to fabricate an exhaust to make it fit right - not happy.

i have the 5 inch turbo back on my truck, i had to take it to the muffler shop and have them move the hangers around to get it to fit just right, they also added two more hangers and welded all of the joints for a 100 bucks.

You think you have a problem. I have a set of their duals on my truck and the driver side is at least 4/5" longer and points down more than the pass.side. Looks like

All in all, I am very unhappy with both the MBRP pipes and the place I bought the exhaust from. I can chop the extra length off of the driver side and fiddle around with the angles by adjusting the joints but I can not fix the issue I have with the seller.

I have the 4" duals. Hanger on the muffler was welded 90 degrees off. Rear hangers did not line up well, they hung uneven so I had to get them adjusted. Hanger also kept falling out on the back because it was too far out so I adjusted that as well. Then the muffler completely cracked off at the exit pipes. So I gave MBRP a call and they sent me a new muffler but weren't willing to stand behind their entire exhaust system because I had taken it into a local exhaust shop that was not a MBRP distributor...which I kind of understand but I could have avoided the whole mess in the first place by not buying their products to begin with. The exhaust system looks nice, but so does the new f-350.

Walker mine did the same thing. Hung down really low and looked terrible. How I fixed it was I was parked on the concrete pad in front of my shop I loosened up the two muffler clamps under there. Then I put a tall wooden block under the exhaust tip and slid some small scrap pieces of 2x4 blocks in there and some other misc stuff til it pushed the tip upwards. When I achieved the desired height with those spacers I crawled back under there and tightened the heck ( I mean I really torqued em down some guys say use an air wrench but I did'nt) out of the clamps. When I pulled the blocks out from under the tip after that it did not drop back down. It looks perfect now. It's stayed there ever since and that was a few months back...

I also had the same problem as 3500lly. I had the muffler completely crack off at the ext pipes and had to do some mods to re-hang. Like the system, pain in the *** to get it where you want though.
