I have found a few of the NV 6 speeds on dealer lots but I dont know if I want to drive half way across the country to get them. I have heard mention that you dont want the new 6 speed but I honestly have not been able to find out why? I heard of a few early failures which I heard where Oil Quantity related but no complaints other than those.

I am also in the situation where I maybe able to get an 06 for near the same price as an 05 so I have to weigh that into the equation. I think the 06 interior/exterior seem nicer than the 05 but I dont want to by a junker tranny either.

4000 miles on my g56 and no complaints so far. I never drove a nv5600 before but I lilke my g56, I installed the quad race box at about 8-900 miles and havent been able to get the clutch to slip in any condition or gear so far. However I am going to try the edge hot juice in the next week or two and I doubt it will stand up to that. This is just my expeirence though
