idle/stopping stumble
I have been having trouble with my truck missing or stumbling. It usually does it when it is cold and idling, but it has actually done it in 60 degree weather which suprised me because I thought it was a cold issue. The only code that has been set was a crank sensor code once and it had to stumble three times to do this at cold warmup idle, twice at 750 rpms and one big stumble with rpms set at 1100. The only other time it stumbles is around 750 rpms when I have just about completely stopped; and there has been a couple of times where the truck simply died (70 degerees outside) when I stop at an intersection or stop sign.
I never had this problem with the bddl or stock (I did do the tone ring mod but reset it back to stock setting) it has just started since I installed the six gun.
I read an old post about a TST box miss issue that said adjusting the clearance of the crank sensor to around .017" corrected this for some people I was just curious if this could help my problem or if there was any validity to this at all.
Does anyone have any insight on this problem?
