idle adjustment questions
I bought the snap on specialty tool for use on the idle nut and I went out to use it and I came across a problem. On my pump since its N/IC theres that fuel line that comes up and over by the throttle linkage that blocks where the tool would be to loosen the nut. Now can I just take the line off and then hook it back up without priming the pump and bleeding injector lines which I have never done before? Or am I going to get my first lesson in all that by doing this?
I also go the wrench for getting at the injector pump bolts for adjusting the timing, still a pain but once you get on the bolt its easy. Bumped the timing a little bit, didn't notice too big of a difference, seems to cool down a little faster, throttle response seems to have improved a little, there are some other things that seem different but not sure if I am noticing them now and they have always been there or something.

I used a punch and a hammer to loosen and tighten the nut. Crude, yep but it works. I just had the top off of the pump to install the 366 spring, I moved the lock nut and slot to the front so they are a little more handy. I get the feeling that Bosh really does not care about makeing shade tree adjustments real easy. BTW be shure everything is clean and well lubed with a good penetrating oil. good luck!
