That would be the crankcase vent bottle AKA 'The puke bottle". Just unscrew it and empty it every oil change. If you don't want gunk in your radiator, you can put a sock over it, or do a relocation mod.

The hose doesn't matter as it gets the blow-by from the crankcase, it will just get coated again soon enough.

You don't need to wait until the next oil change to empty the bottle, especially if it's full, it's just a good thing to do every oil change to make sure that it does not overflow and leak everywhere. You should also check the engine side of your radiator to make sure it's not gunked up with oil. You will know if it is when your engine starts overheating (not good). Many have sprayed simple green on the engine side of the radiator and rinsed it off with a hose to remove some of the crud. You can do a vent relocation search on this site and find plenty of options as to what you can do to eliminate this problem.
