In no way would I tell you to get the Nittos unless in was the DURA Grapplers, I've seen to many 3/4 and 1 ton trucks eat them up in 20,000 or less miles. I have three friends and my father in law all have the good years on heavy 4x4s and they are doing great, I personally voted for the Bridgestones because they look very good and I've "heard" that they wear good. I've had great luck w/ toyos also.

I have the nittos in 305/70/R17 load range E, and won't be getting another set. Gravel roads just eat them up. If I was just on pavement it probably wouldn't be an issue though.

I agree, the Nitto's are a bitchen tire, ride nice and quiet, they just don't last as long on these heavy trucks.
People have had good luck with the Bridgestones.
Don't know about the Goodyears.
My vote would be for Toyo's also.

A buddy with a D Max has the Toyo AT's and they just aren't impressive to us. They don't clean out very out good and they don't do all that great on the ice.
MY truck is a pavement queen for the most part. With that said though we do see a lot of snow and ice up here as you could imagine. I pull a 4 place enclosed sled trailer with no less than three sleds every weekend in the Winter. Roads are terrible and I need a tire that will grip. We take the trailers off road to get to parking lots and trailheads so we do have to buck snow. I don't really like putting chains on so the better tire I get the better off I am. Mud tires with big lugs don't work that great at all. But something in between is the ticket I think along with siping.
Thanks for the replies and votes so far.

Well, I went with the Revo's this time. So far I like them. They look like they will be good in the snow, ice and off road.
Thanks for all of the opinions.

Staarma, How do you like the Revo's? I'll be buying new tires in a couple weeks and I'm struggling between the Revos and GY Silent Armor. Revo's are $40/set more, but that's not really an issue.
