Got my tranny done by James Northum holy crow!
Well,
Got the ol' tranny built by James Northum and man oh man! What a difference. I can now spin though second gear without worrying. A must have if you want to play. Not to mention that James is a class act.

Yeah Phil you did buddy...thanks for recommending him. Spent about 5k, got new tc, billet flex plate, billet input/output shafts, new v/b, stiffer bands and all that good stuff. Worth every penny.

Yup. Had mine in for 20k+ and I still get a smile on my face everytime I drive it. I can't wait to get mine back to him and have the billet thrown in. Then I can stop worrying about doing 10psi launches.

I know this is a loaded question. but how long should a tranny like this last compared to a stock tranny. I am starting to get the itch of moding my truck but don't like the investment of all the parts needed. I was only planning on exhaust and a edge attitude or quad commander but I was still told the stocker wouldn't last long.
