Well,

Got the ol' tranny built by James Northum and man oh man! What a difference. I can now spin though second gear without worrying. A must have if you want to play. Not to mention that James is a class act.

James and I are buddies...and i know he worked hard to get the parts together for you in the amount of time. He was happy to be able to "hook ya up!"

Yup. Had mine in for 20k+ and I still get a smile on my face everytime I drive it. I can't wait to get mine back to him and have the billet thrown in. Then I can stop worrying about doing 10psi launches.

I know this is a loaded question. but how long should a tranny like this last compared to a stock tranny. I am starting to get the itch of moding my truck but don't like the investment of all the parts needed. I was only planning on exhaust and a edge attitude or quad commander but I was still told the stocker wouldn't last long. With a tranny similar to above, if it lasted 80k miles and counting like the stock one it would be worth it. I know loaded question but just rying to get an idea of how much tougher this trans would be.
