Going bigger on tires

I have a 4x4 01 dually and I want to put the biggest tires I can on it without any lift. What size should I go with? I have heard that 305/70 might fit. I was also wondering how big of a spacer I should put between the dual wheels.

Those will look donutty, I bet. Mine look pretty fat, I wonder what they'd look like on a dually. Mine is stock and 305/70s fit.

Calibrate your speedo, or you will get a ticket.

Don't ask me how I know that.

I looked up on tires1001 that the speed difference is about 8%, so I know what it is. 54 at 50, 76 at 70, good enough for me. Don't have anything to calibrate with, and they don't fine for 5 mph over speed limit around here. Not on good days anyway.

Does anybody know what size wheel spacer would be good with this combo. I haul some heavy loads.
