Well I finally got around to doing my transmission with the parts that I could afford to do it with and all I can say is I am totally happy with the way it came out! I ended up doing a valve body a tripple disk converter and various other parts that Dave recamended for the target Hp of 500 or so Hp. I can tell you guy's this the trans is Awesome!! I did the Vale body earlier and it was great then I added the converter and the rest of the parts and all I can say is this thing is is better than I emagined it would be! I never thought a transmission could make an impact in the performance of a Diesel truck like this and I highly recamend Goerand Transmission!! Thanks for putting up with my long winded speach!!

I agree ! Very happy with mine compared to the stocker ,which was a slush box for sure!

I appreciated him helping me on my build too. Worked so good I sold two of his box units to customers that were hauling heavy with light engine mods.

What all did you do?

I have a spare 47re that I built at work using daves torque converter. He also sent me the kit he uses for the valve body which I did myself. Made for an easy swap one afternoon. I have my original trans "freshened" and just need to build the valve body for it. Then I'll have a spare bullet.
