Gauge confussion

I got my gauges today, Di-pricol EGT, Boost and Tranny from diesel manor. The install for the pyro probe and the boost seem to be straight forward, the pryo probe that it cam with is 1/4", what size drill bit and tap do i need for it? The gauge that is really the most concerning to me is the tranny gauge. How do I install it, where does the probe go, I have read many forums on this issue but that has just confussed me even more. Would i be better off having a place like Mass Diesel install it or something? Thanks for your time and help

if you aren't experienced with this type of work you should get help from someone that is. you can mess things up without meaning to and incur a big expense to correct the mistake. hopefully you can find someone that will actually show you how to perform the task and let you do the work. good luck

try doing a search on pyro install or gauge installs. For the tranny temp probe try searching on that subject or get a 95 tranny cooler line from piers diesel or your local dodge dealer. It has a port for a temp probe and ran just over $100. TST products has instructions for the install of the gauges so check them out. I get to do mine next weekend and am having someone help me out.

good luck to you
