FP Gauge Noise

It's been 5 or 6 weeks after the gauge install and everything was going good. The other day, I noticed a buzzing/ clicking noise coming from my fp gauge. I checked all my connections and all was good. After re-tightening evereything, the noise went away for a day and now its back. I'm thinking its time for a needle valve, any idea where I can get one?

Also, why would the noise suddenly appear after 6 weeks instead of being present from the beginning? Why would it go away for a day then come back? Same tank of fuel in the truck, if that would make a difference.

Thanks for any help.

I found a similar looking valves at lowes and home depot. I'm pretty sure the official title is a '1/8" pipe thread needle valve'. Shouldn't cost more than 3 soft tacos or 2 supreme tacos at TacoBell.

brandon.

The noise probably comes and goes with air in the line to the gauge that dampens it.
Most any place that sells plumbing will have an 1/8'' needle valve, they're used for swamp coolers and ice makers.

Over here it's virtually impossible to get this valve - bad thing is that my FP gauge has died too. Rod @ Wildcat said he'll work with me on a replacement. Until now I must say that Wildcat is the best supplier for US truck stuff I met, ex aequo with DTT for transmission stuff.
I'm glad to do my shopping with them both
