Engine Studder on hill climb , Is it my Quad. XZT?
I went to a Lake in our area this weekend and had to climb a prettty good 7%grade to get there. My truck was really laboring at the top of the hill. Water temp 210*, Tranny 205*, Boost 35psi, EGT's hit 1350, I had to keep out of throttle to keep them around 1200, my best mph was around 35-40 mph 2500-2900 rpms.
On the last climb the truck started to studder and I could smell radiator fluid. I really put the little 6 cyl to the test on that hill pulling 14,500lbs. Every temp gauge was hitting max., it did'nt last for more than a few minutes and as soon as I hit the top and started down the other side everything seemed fine, but on the way home I had to hit a few other smaller climbs and the truck did fine but still has this little studder, like the engine wants to quit. It hits and misses, and only does it when i'm really on the throttle hard.

I didn't set anything on the Commander bro, I didn't know I need to. Can you talk me through any of it? To tell you the truth I've never pushed a button on it.

Absolutely. It was probably just defueling on you.
In the main menu there are sub menus for warnings and defueling. Under each sub menu are each individual parameter, such as EGT, coolant temp, tranny temp, boost, fuel pressure, etc. Go into each and see if they need adjusting. My guess is it defuel due to high EGT.
I have mine warn me at the following:
EGT - 1350*
Tranny temp - 215*
Coolant temp - 215*
Boost - 38 p.s.i.
I have mine defuel at the following:
EGT - 1400*
Tranny temp - 225*
Coolant temp - 225*
Boost - 41 p.s.i.
Just go out and play with it and you'll easily figure it out. If not, call me tonight. I'm not exactly sure what I did with my cell phone so if I don't answer call the house. I'll PM you the number in case you need it.....

I just ordered the Commander. There are some good installation instructions on the Quad site but I can not find instructions on the site for the fuel kit installation.
Any infor on the fuel kit install?
