DSE Diesel alternative

http://www.dieselsecret.com/index.html
This was an ad that I saw on this site. It says that it costs 46 cents per gallon to make and there's no conversion or performance change. Just wondering if anyone has tried this stuff or has something to say about it.

The thing is even if you do search this topic most of what you will find is a bunch of bashing the product and very little real info from persons whom have used or are curently using this product. PM me and I will tell you everything I know about it. I have been using it for about 6 mths now with a couple modifications to the system and have had good results so far.

You know the thought had crossed my mind but after reading several other posts on the subject I was afraid someone would accuse me of trying to sell the product.

I purchased this stuff several mths ago. Since then and after some trial and error I have eliminated the use of the special formula they sell. I have played around with the filters a little, and I now use one bottle (treats 10 gal) of ISO Heet for every 35 gallons of fuel. Per my foot dyno I have noticed no loss in power though (if anything it seems to have a little more poop in the low end, maybe just my imagination) no loss or increase in mileage. It does smoke a little more in the morn until the rig warms up but other than that everything works fine. I have not pulled injectors to look for build up but plan to after a few thousand more miles. The truck runs much more quiet, and smells funny. I guess once you remove there special formula from the mix all you are really doing is cutting WVO, a topic that has been dicussed to death and seems to be not very popular here. I am willing to give all the info I have gatherd to anyone interested down to part numbers. However I will not post them in an open forum due to copyright issues. I will PM them to you though. ANy specific questions feel free to ask. I have had really good luck with this stuff and it has saved me a bunch of cash. Though the claim that you can do it fo 40 some odd cents per gallon is kind of dated and it is really more like 60 cents a gallon right now. I have not actually calculated it recently since the price of kerosene around here keeps jumping all over the place. All I know is it is well under $1 and I'm thrilled.

Yah well I suppose it isn't real good but using less than 1/3 the label rate can't do to much damage. Even making bio if you do not wash the heck out of it there has to be some residual meth left and noone seems to worry about it. Just make sure it is the ISO in the red bottle and not the regular fuel line dryer in the yellow bottle. Again I have been doing this for about six mths with no apperant side effects. I can not promise it will work for you. All I can say is that I am happy and the europeans have been doing it for years. The more I use it the more info I will be able to give you. Take it for what it is worth.
