D350, best color
D350, best color
After looking thru the 19 pages of 1st gen pics I have decided that my red D350 may be due for a color change.
My 92 D350 has shed all its side moldings and I'm considering a cosmetic upgrade since it has served me so well. Now what color??? I'm not to fond of the solid red. Maybe two tone...
Silver seems to suit then nicely.
What's your favorite 1st gen dually color(s)?

Im partial to the maroon top and bottom with champagne in the middle...check out cbtumedic's in the pics thread, thats my bro's old truck. its also on the very first post under my name.
I'll be shooting the paint myself so, I may stay away from metalic colors that are difficult to shoot. White would be easy (and cool in the summer) but I'm afraid she'll turn out boring looking. Maybe go back red and have a silver accent sprayed...
Funny how it started out as 'just a farm truck' and now has become pretty much my daily driver. Even over the two Mercedes I have.
Anyone ever black Line-X'ed their chrome grille? I saw a 2nd gen done that looked very good. Mine is cracked so...

I really like the Dark Metallic Quartz paint on Jim’s truck, it is darker than the original metallic silver that Dodge had back in the early 90’s
And I like it a lot better without the red pinstripe it had.
The darker color makes it a bit more stealth at night, now if I could just figure out a way to quiet the engine noise with the flip of a switch.

Here is the new paint it is in the process of getting as we speak; in the years since it was first painted there is hardly any noticeable shift in the color or fade.
