cleaning the injectors

I have 84,000 miles on my truck should I put a cleaner or conditioner through the fuel system or will they damage the injectors.

I usally run a bottle of diesel clean, turn the programmer up and drive it hard like i always do about every 5 tanks or so. Starts easy and runs great with 126k miles

Make sure the additive doesn't contain alcohol.

Clean injectors

I run Lucas conditioner and injector cleaner nearly every tank full. I travel a lot and use diesel from every place so I want to make sure I don't have some clogging up going on. I also change fuel filter every 5K miles when I change oil. Have 163,000 on a 5.9 2003 dually.

I use the Kleen Flo diesel fuel conditioner in every tank of fuel. I use crappy fuel from camps and off rigs in the patch and have yet to have a problem with it. Other guys have had issues with water in their fuel, gelling and injector issues from this fuel, but have yet to see an issue myself. And it is available in Canada.
