Is the Helix cam about the best out there, or is there something a little more aggresive. I saw the Helix 3 but it looks like it's more setup for N.O.S and a lot higher R.P.M?

The 3 also requires different pistons. I know Piers will grind a cam for less than the Helix costs to what you want it ground to, but im not sure what would be best.

The 3 does NOT need flycut pistons. It is aggressive, but is working well in high HP 24 valves, even under 3200 rpm.
I dont think you would find anything better and that is tested to work as designed.

I'm running a cam I bought from Greg Hogue that was custom ground by Bullet Cams to his specs. I know it's in a few very high hp trucks. One of his cams was in the 11 second truck they built up in Diesel Power mag for Hot Rod Drag Week. I would at least call and talk to him about it before making any decisions. PM me if you are interested and I'll give you contact info.
There's some other cam grinds out there that I can't speak for but I've heard others say good things about. Check out Schieds and Enterprise Engines. -Josh

Sorry about that Don, I thought the 3 required fly cuts. Guess I was wrong.[dummy]

i'd say haisley, scheid or EEP for truck pulling there billet cams are pretty sweet but the journals need bored and the pistons need flycut.
