I've always wondered, how do they get something that heavy to the build site for the container ships? Wonder what the torque wrench looks like that does the head studs

Probably look like an induction heater and a tool to measure stud stretch. Thats what we use on the steam turbines.

Don't use a torque wrench on the head bolts. A device that stretches the head bolts a measured amount is used, then spin on the nut and let off on the hydraulic tensioner and its done, go to the next one.

They build the engine at the factory and test run it, then partially disassemble it, ship it, install it and put it back together.
