Best monitoring device?
Just traded my '06 for an '08 & I'm wanting to know what the best monitoring device there is for it. Had the Commander on my'06 & it did the job, but was looking for something a little better looking. Need boost, EGT, tranny temp & coolant( I think). The Insight looks nice but I've read it's not that great. Sooo, what are ya'll using?

either the insight or dashhawk. Both are good units and work for what you want. Also if you go that way, look at the blendmount kit for the install. It is VERY slick. I love the way it mounts my Juice

Are the wires long enough to do that?? I mean, most of these things come with a wiring harness that is barely long enough to do a nice and neat install, nevermind running the wires all the way from above the mirror. Other than that, I like the idea.

forget the dashawk msd discontinued support for it. they bought edge and is now working on the insight. they are offering a rebate to dashawk owners, but not enough. i bought mine shortly after buying my '08' and found out a month later that msd had discontinued support.

The Dashhawk also doesn't have the option to connect a pyro, IIRC.
I like my Insight so far. A little quirky but it does what I need it to do. I wish the numbers were bigger on the screen however (like the attitude monitors). I have trouble seeing the numbers with the 4-gauge setup, the 6-gauge setup is FAR too small for me, which is disappointing because one of my deciding factors on the Insight over others was the fact that I could monitor 6 parameters on screen.
Quadzilla has their Recon unit that is supposed to be compatible for the 6.7L in the very near future as well. Another option to look into.

It is the most natural place for a gauge I have ever seen. How many times in a drive do you look in the rear view mirror?? plus it is very stealth
