Hey guys I am having a problem with my truck, which is unusual. I have the BD lift pump and big fuel kit, and my pump that is mounted on the frame under the drivers side door will not turn off. I pulled the fuse from the inline spot by the battery and it shuts off, but otherwise it stays running even when the key is turned off. Any help I would greatly appreciate, I am scared to drive it till I fix it. Vp44's are not cheap!!!

 

If you are using the Dodge wiring harness on a VP equipped truck to run your BD lift pump, the problem will be fuel relay in the power distribution center.

You can install a fuel pump switch and just remember to turn it on and off, and it will not hurt the VP as long as the BD pump does not crank out more than 25 psi.
