Automatic Transmission/injector Pump ???
I was under the hood of the wife's truck and was looking at the extra gizmo on the injector-pump that the 5-speed trucks don't have.
I hadn't noticed before, but there is a place, on this gizmo, for wires to be plugged in; the trouble is, there are no wires plugged into it.
I sort of looked around and could see nothing extra hanging around that looked like it goes there.
I assume this has been like that since we bought the truck.
It shifts fine, drives good, and gets excellent mileage.
Should something be plugged in this device; and, what are we missing from the lack of it??
Thanks.

All I know is that it's the throttle position sensor and that it has something to do with the tranny grabbing overdrive. Beyond that, I haven't a clue, but here's your bump to the top!
