Air conditioner leaking
Hi I have a 2005 ctd and im noticing alot of water under my truck.I looked on the passenger side and the black tube which i think is part of the air is loaded with condensation.
Also some selonoid is clicking on and off by tthe air condensor?I dont use the air why would it seem to be operating or malfunctioning?

Two things, first if AC is truly leaking you won't see it because it will be a gas and not visable. Second...are you at all using the defrost function of your heating system? If you are then it automatically turns on the AC to rid the interior of moisuture causing fog or frost on the windows, when the ac pulls this moisture out of your interior it turns it into visable water that then drips out the evaporator drain tube (which is the tube you are refering to) and drips on the ground. Completely normal. The clicking...I'm not 100% sure. Is it during cold starts? Or is it after the truck is warm? If during cold starts it is probably your grid heater relays clicking away as they work. If when warm it may be a relay for the fan clutch, however I am not 100% sure our trucks use a relay...I would have to check a wiring diagram.
