ABS motor (HCU) questions

Anybody ever had any of the following issues with the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)?

The ABS and E-Brake lights are on. The HCU motor runs even with the truck not running. Any info? Is this covered under the Powertrain warantee? This may have just killed my moose hunt. Thanks in advance for the help...

don't know about a fix for you but.....

what might save the moose hunt would be to just pull the fuse. Your gauges may not work and your ABS won't but, you'll be able to drive the truck until there's time to fix it ?? Don't know how that will affect the E brake though

Abs is not part of the powertrain............pull the fuse and you will just loose the abs function the foundation brakes will work just fine.

Had That Happen Once To My Wifes 2000 Tahoe, Dealer Wanted $800+ To Fix, I Didn't Let Them Fix It, They Just Unplugged The Power Going To The Unit. I Did Some Research On The Internet And I Found A Site Where A Couple Of Engineers In Idaho Would Fix It For A Hundred Dollars And You Pay Shipping Both Ways. Actually It Was A Panel With A Circuit Board That Was Bolted To The Abs Pump, I Was Able To Remove The Panel And Covered With Plastic While I Shipped It To Them, And Continued To Drive The Truck. I Don't Know If Dodge Has The Same Setup But According To These Guys It Was Some Sort Of Resistor On The Circuit Board That Burns Out And They Replaced It With A Better One, Worked Great After I Got T Back, Saved Over $700. Don't Know If This Will Help. Good Luck.
