Okay I bid 400 on a 5" magnaflow s/s system wth a 6" tip and free shipping They countered with 585, the start out bid was 745. This does do away with the whole stock system and is 5" from the turbo should I buy or not?

If you like loud and big that's not a bad deal. We always caution customers on 5 inch system that they will be loud and drone some as well. The 4.0 systems that we sell wil support up to 500RWHP, so if you don't like it loud you might consider that type of system.

Mark, Been looking at your site. Found it on here the other night, I too was looking at the 5" but didn't know this about drone. That might change my mind to the 4". I'm only about 80 mi from you, was wondering if your shop is open an saturdays, I'd like to look around and see some of your products in person. LCH

 

Maybe I am lucky. My 5" inch straight pipe system does not drone at all. In fact it is quit mellow.......until you get on it. I have not pulled with it yet but the 5" lets the music of the CTD come through without being raspy like a 3" and in my opinion mellower than a 4.

 

A friend of mine and I own a painting buisness and have matching 04 2500's. We have a 16' inclosed job trailer that we take week about pulling. The truck handels the trailer with ease but I wonder what the system would sound like with the trailer back there. You do get some sound bounce off the front of the trailer ( even though it has a V nose front ) with the windows down and the slider open this time of year. I don't see this as a bad thing now but might if it's too loud...LCH

Mark,Work schedule is pretty heavy right now but we take off a day every once in a while, might drive down then. Have you sold any exhaust to anyone in cookeville or surrounding towns? I'd like to hear one...LCH
